Napa Valley, California, United StatesThirty two year old vines are behind the ‘Vieilles Vignes’ estate chardonnay. The grapes are handpicked, whole cluster pressed and native yeast fermented. Yields are a miniscule 1.8 tons per acre. The attack is rich and succulent with pineapple/honeysuckle aromas and flavours, definitely more Napa then Burgundy its spends 16 months on its lees in 333 percent new French oak from three tonneliers and three different forests.
