Le Vieux Pin Vaïla Rosé 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaStructured with lightness, this dry pinot noir rosé opens with bacon fat, salted strawberry and rhubarb, all of which continue to a dry, bitter edged and sea salt-kissed palate. Twenty-two hours on the skins before being pressed into stainless steel for four months. Wild raspberry, rose thorns, tight strawberry and fine salts ring through the streaming medium bodied and concentrated palate, finishing with salts and a salami note. Attractive style; would be lovely with a charcuterie board or grilled wild salmon.Tasted: 27 May 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
