50th Parallel Estate Pinot Noir Rosé 2015
Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPinot noir from Central and Southern Okanagan make up this vibrantly hued rosé. Grapes were destemmed and placed in a closed fermenter where they were cooled down to near freezing for a forty-eight-hour cold soak before pressing and a cold ferment in stainless. Clean, tight strawberry jam, cherry gummies and a dusting of cinnamon in this juicy, off-dry and medium bodied pink. The finish closes with a bitter pear note and a wave of heat, but when chilled down as this wine should be, you won't mind.
