Painted Rock Rosé 2014

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe deep rhubarb hue is reflected on the nose and palate of this fuller bodied rosé, a blend of merlot, cabernet franc, malbec and petit verdot from estate vineyards on the Skaha Bench. Strawberry jam, red currant, pear and rosewater glide along a silken, creamy, glycerin palate, bolstered with a good bump of residual sugar and 14.5 percent alcohol. Not shy, go ahead and pour this alongside duck rillettes or rosé creamed pasta.Tasted: 15 April 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
