Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaScented violets meets roasted meats meets cracked pepper in this alluring, charismatic syrah. One percent co-fermented roussanne seasons and softens the cuvée, though this is all about bright, fresh, earthy wild blackberry, cassis and black pepper. A veneer of tar lines the bottom before wild herbs and charcuterie come into the savoury, pink peppercorn-laced palate.
