Heartland Directors' Cut Shiraz 2012

Langhorne Creek, South Australia, AustraliaThe Directors’ Cut is the most powerful expression of the winery’s Langhorne Creek shiraz. The nose is rich and aromatic with meaty, black fruit scents. The palate is awash in black and blue fruits with a peppery undercurrent. The palate is a mix of cedar, coffee, vanilla, blackberry jam, resin and more meaty notes. Soft and drinkable blockbuster with a big, warm finish. Drink or hold a decade. Best with a steak grilled medium rare. After fermentation the wine spends 14 months in French and American oak.Tasted: 26 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
