Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaCabernet franc from St. David's Bench spends thirteen months in French and American oak, 1/3 of which is new and all of which is evident in this fuller bodied, wood-hewn franc. Bramble, branch and black spiced fruit fill the full palate, one lifted with some pine resin acidity and hemmed by fine, ripe and slightly sticky tannins.
