Culmina Family Estate Unicus 2015

Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe latest Unicus is perhaps the most expressive yet, no doubt aided by the warm 2015 vintage. Again you get the grassy notes with an exotic weighty yellow fruits/gooseberry/citrus notes. There’s obvious freshness here but the palate is weighty with persistent ripe grapefruit, starfruit and yellow plums with even a hint of oiliness. Aromatic and attractive and opulent if not electric. Should be a no brainer match with fresh halibut or Thai-styled prawns.Tasted: 25 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
