Beringer Quantum Red Blend 2012
Napa Valley, California, United StatesA fine jump in quality over the 2010 beginning with a perfectly ripe blend of fruit and super silky textures. Quantum comes off a multitude of sites owned by Beringer. Black cherries plums and spice all in balance with medium weight that finishes soft and long. Ready to drink but will easily age through 2020. Excellent bottle. The foundation is cabernet sauvignon off Howell Mountain, blended with smaller portions off the valley floor plus merlot, petite sirah and malbec all aged for 16 months in French oak of which 60 percent is new.
