Argento Reserva Bonarda 2014
Mendoza, ArgentinaBonarda is the second most planted grape variety in Argentina but it gets little respect in North America and even less in its likely home, Italy. It’s late ripening but if you are patient you can get a charming peppery easy-sipping pizza/burger red. The Argento is a fresh, juicy affair, again with fairly pure fruit and a peppery, savoury finish.Tasted: 12 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $13.99 | 750ml | speculative listing - Renaissance Wine Merchnats |
