Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandAt six years this is both ripe and ready for drinking now. Look for strawberry jam, raspberry and bramble notes on the nose with sweet perfumed cherry and fine black pepper spicing over a rich, cushy palate. The finish is long and sweet as in pinot sweet with more herbal, berry notes. Fine mouth feel and fun to see some mature notes too. Simple but tasty.
