Hartford Court Pinot Noir 2013

Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe 2013 Hartford Court pinot is made with a blend of small vineyards located throughout the Russian River Valley AVA and supplemented by the winery block located off of Martinelli Road and Fog Dance Vineyard in Green Valley, Russian River Valley. It's all hand sorted and destemmed but not crushed, sorted again at the berry level before its fermented in small open-top, temperature controlled stainless steel fermenters using indigenous yeasts. The nose is amazingly intense and full of black cherry fruit. The attack is silky with rich, mouth-filling, smoky, spicy pinot fruit. There’s more finesse today then we remember which makes it more fun to drink.Tasted: 31 March 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
