Valle del Elqui, ChileWinemaker Giorgio Flessati, hails form the Trentino region in Northern Italy but has become an unabashed Elqui Valley crusader. The blend is 60/40 carmenère/syrah and it is fully ripe. The entry is almost sweet black pepper and dark chocolate dominating the nose. The texture is super smooth with big spicy savoury black cherry, plum jam aromas with a touch of smoked meat. The palate is juicy ands sweet with savoury, black liquorice chocolate, vanilla flavours.
