Almost a decade down the road this shiraz has aged gracefully which is no mean feat given its 16.4 alcohol base. The nose is a pleasant mix of chocolate, dark fruits and spice. The attack is supple, round and now fully mature plum jam, licorice and more baking spices. As mentioned the balanced is perfect.
