Maremma, Tuscany, ItalyMade by winemaker Stefano Ferrante in collaboration with famed Frenchman Denis Dubourdieu, Rocca di Montemassi is a Maremma red blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot and syrah. The four varieties are vinified separately in stainless including a 30-day maceration followed by 12 months in first and second year French oak. The nose has a warm Mediterranean demeanour with black and blue fruits over a savoury earthy mineral base.
