Masseria Altemura Sasseo 2013

Salento, Puglia, ItalyClassic southern Italian full bodied red with rich, warm, pruny fruit notes mixed with plums and meaty sausage note. The palate is similar with more warm raisiny fruit streaked with black cherries and tobacco Round long and warm we enjoyed this with a ground chicken tomato sauce and pasta.
