Gorizia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ItalyFragrant wildflowers, honeysuckle, nectarine and fennel are drawn across the waxy palate in this Friulano from DOC Isonzo del Friuli. Earthy and herbal, medium weight white brightened and textured with candied citrus and green apple with notes of wildflowers and pear skin. Though alcohol is moderate at 12.5 percent the heady mouthfeel allows for richer dishes.
