British Columbia, CanadaBuilding on its Okanagan Crush Pad Campus Series wine, Samantha Syrah, OCP decided to produce two follow up wines: this gamay and a chardonnay. The gamay is perfectly ripe with plums, red cherries and a dollop of strawberry jam all tempered to a gentle texture through time in concrete. There’s enough acidity to keep it all fresh while soft tannins and cinnamon spicing aid in gulpability. A deeper, generous gamay, suitable for Angus sliders or roasted root vegetables.
