Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is pruny with cook fruit/raisin dried spices and oxidative notes. It seems as if the best harvest time was missed here. The palate is super smooth and warm with rich raisiny, blackberry, pruny fruit with some dry ragged tannins in the back. Grilled sausages would be the best match here to smooth out the edges. The blend is a 60/40 mix of cabernet franc and merlot from Blink Creek Vineyard in the Similkameen.
