Screaming Frenzy Chardonnay 2013
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine opens with the DNA of Secrest Vineyard (McIntyre Plateau south Okanagan) fruit on the nose: mineral and floral. The attack is soft and creamy no doubt a result of being fermented in a concrete egg. The wine was then stored in French Oak and 6 months later it was ‘hatched’. The flavours are a mix of light lees, butter and apples with enough acidity to finish fresh and clean.
