Road 13 Home Vineyard Late Harvest Old Vines Chenin Blanc 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMade from vines now 46 years old planted on the Golden Mile Bench. The pick took place on the 28th of November and all the fruit was basket pressed. The juice was fermented in old neutral barrels and aged for 5 months in the barrels prior to bottling. Expect a medium yellow colour and a slightly oxidise baked pear nose. The palate is soft and sweet with notes of honey and more baked pears. The finish is long and complex.
