Road 13 Chardonnay 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAt Road 13 they work their chardonnays. The ’12 was picked quite late for optimum ripeness which gives it the weight and power to be barrel fermented and to have the lees stirred daily. The nose is rich, mixing vanilla baked apples and plenty of that bread dough lees character. The palate follow the same line with smoky, baked apple and pear notes, candied lemon and caramel vanilla impression in the back end. Rich, seamless flavours that are ready to drink.
