Fern Walk Pinot Gris 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis south Okanagan gris is unoaked and made in the skinny lean New Zealand style, which may explain the ferns on the label, long a Kiwi trademark. The nose is fresh with floral honey and tropical undertones that follow on to the palate. The acidity is aggressive with passionfruit and notes of green fruits and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Try this with steamed mussels or pasta with scallops. If you like Kiwi style, but want to support BC wine - we guess.Tasted: 04 December 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $16.99 | 750ml | BCLS exclusive |
