Fattoria Zerbina Ceregio Sangiovese di Romagna 2013
ItalyMedium red colour previews a lighter red color wine with fresh wild berry, floral scents and hint of forest floor. The palate is equally fresh and vibrant with more black cherry, mineral, floral, savoury bits with a balanced, medium-long finish with just a hint of that Italian complexing bitterness in the back end. On the palate this wine is quite fresh. Winemaker Cristina Geminiani is famous for making fresh wine and in this case Ceregio is built to be drunk young when it is fresh and juicy. Serve with mushroom pasta or risotto dishes.Tasted: 05 December 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:ON | $27.99 | 750ml | Consignment - Lifford Wine Spirits |
