Backyard Vineyards Gewurztraminer 2014
British Columbia, CanadaOur third look (vintage) at this wine and it is the best yet. The nose is clean with spicy, litchi, meaty notes flecked with lemons and apples. The palate is fresh with bits of honey and a strong, savoury lemon flavoured undercurrent and a rich finish. I tried this with a mix of sushi rolls and it was a fine match.
