Serendipity Estate Merlot Private Reserve 2009
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig bold spicy fruit nose with slightly lifted notes of black cherries and cassis. The attack is fresh, the mid=-palate skinny and with some fairly astringent wood tannins that dry out the finish. The flavours are good and mix cherries and chocolate with dried herbs but the wood is far too dominant for young vines.Tasted: 10 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
