Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe love that the Okanagan Crush Pad Narrative sparkler is made in the ancient ways or what the French call the méthode ancestral. In this case the chardonnay never leaves the bottle after a solo fermentation nor is it disgorged, so the lees are kept in the bottle (no fining or filtering). The sparkle is a little pressurized which seems appropriate given the freshness, citrus and toast on the nose.
