Emilia-Romagna, ItalyDry Lambrusco is a thing, thankfully. Lini has been making wine in Emilio Romagna since 1910, and still making wines true to their region, goods and culture. 910 may surprise with its opaque dark plum hue, and bubbles (!) but do give this characterful wine a try. Black plums, dark cherry, wild blueberries and balsamic brings the riff of depth and tannin to tackle protein, plus fresh and taut acidity to carry it off. Pour with grilled wild mushroom pizza or meatballs and enjoy.Tasted: 27 September 2016Tasted by: Prices:
Emilia-Romagna, ItalyDry Lambrusco is gaining popularity, and with excellent reason: interesting red berry depth and tannin to tackle foods plus fresh and taut acidity to carry them. And bubbles! Here notes of plum, blueberry and cherry compote, juicy and lively in the mouth, reigned by cherry pit/chalky tannins. Pour with pizza and enjoy.Tasted: 04 October 2015Tasted by: Prices:
Emilia-Romagna, ItalyDeep 'grape' purple color. Delicate red fruit flavours with bits of blueberry and raspberry meaty rustic notes. The balance is excellent with good acidity and moderately charged fruit flavours. This would be best with whole roasted turkey or as the Italians suggest minestrone soup. The blend is 85/15 Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Ancelotta.Tasted: 02 August 2013Tasted by: Prices:
