Pouilly-Fume, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceThe Mellot Pouilly Fume plot totals 9.5 hectares some planted to Kimmeridgian limestone marls and some in the village of Saint Laurent l ’Abbaye is planted over stones over clay. Simple winemaking: crushed, pressed and settled at low temperatures stainless steel tanks. The colour is pale, the nose a riot of white flowers, minerals, grapefruit and a hint of pepper.
