Joseph Mellot Destinéa Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Loire, FranceThe Mellot family has been making wine since 1513. It is said that César Mellot was a wine advisor to Louis XIV. Destinéa is a simply made white, pressed and run into stainless steel tanks and aged ion its fine lees. The nose is fresh and bright, more floral than grassy with hints of white flowers and fresh lemon slices. The balance, right on the edge of nervy is perfect. West Coast shellfish or goat cheese either is a perfect match. Good value.Tasted: 21 October 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
