Domaine de Chevalier 2012
Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceFragrant dried herbs mark the nose along with a sweet note of black fruits. The attack is firm and dry with fairly grippy tannins at this stage albeit in balance with the fruit. There is a fine purity of fruit mixed with licorice and lead pencil notes. The finish is long and elegant with a touch of tobacco, wet earth and tannin. Nothing five years won’t round out. It’s a fair price.Tasted: 03 October 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $90.00 | 750ml | |
