It spends a year in French oak. The nose is aromatic with lifted red fruit, spice and tobacco notes. The attack is slightly raw, it needs time in the bottle with grilled bread notes and spice cranberry jam and tobacco flavours. Well balanced but youthful tannins mark the finish.
