Wild Goose Red Horizon Meritage 2012

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSimilar to the 2011 the 2012 mix is 55/25/20/ merlot, cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot. The fruit is riper but strangely the acidity is more prominent. The attack is rich and smooth with big, tart, red fruit flavours reminiscent of cranberries, and under ripe cherries. Best now with grilled beef or hold two years to soften all the edges.Tasted: 28 September 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
