Louis Bernard Crozes Hermitage 2013
Rhone Valley, FranceMedium cherry colour leads to sausage meat, saddle leather, caraway, black pepper and black licorice notes mixed with roasted bell pepper, tobacco and black cherry aromas all with a bit of tapenade. Dry, fresh, elegant attack but light bodied across the palate with light tannins and more black pepper, smoked meat, savoury, tobacco leaf, caraway with a touch of black cherry. Needs a year to round out but shows cooler style characters and lacks the depth and concentration of previous vintages.Tasted: 09 September 2015Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $24.49 | 750ml | BCLS |
