Mendoza, ArgentinaHeralded Argentine winemaker Roberto de La Mota consults on this project, a high altitude (1000m) malbec from Mendoza. French and American oak support the ripe, dark, fruit. Though the density here is undeniable, so is the lifted affect of altitude - the freshness propping up all the brooding black cherry, wild blackberry, black plum and undercurrent of tar.
