Felino by Viña Cobos Malbec 2013
Mendoza, ArgentinaRipe, round and suave, this Mendoza malbec is a joint project by Viña Cobos and Paul Hobbs, from grapes sourced in the Valle de Uco and Luján de Cuyo appellations. Aromas of dried cassis, black cherry, twine, cola and leather carry through to palate, where fine, supple tannins support the sun-ripened fruit. Espresso and bitter black cherry rules the finish, where a warming frame of oak is most apparent.
