Gaspereau Valley, Nova Scotia, CanadaTidal Bay is not only the name for this wine (and many others from Nova Scotia), it is the first wine appellation for Nova Scotia, launched in 2012. Off-dry, this blend includes l'acadie blanc and ortega in a tidy 9.5 percent alcohol package. Pear drop, perfumed apple blossom, roses, lime gummies and bitter lime leaf are anchored by crisp, racy granny smith apple and a powdery, chalky mouthfeel.
