Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPeppery, prune, mint, black cherry, light barnyard, floral nose with bits of cedar, coffee, tobacco, smoky leather, cassis and dried herb. Dry, warm, slightly tart palate on attack with coffee, vanilla, chocolate, cranberry, tobacco, resin and cassis flavours with a bit of black olive and roast pepper on the finish. A touch tart and oaky but with solid fruit in a more forward style. This will improve in bottle and further integrate with oak over the next 18 months.
