Veneto, ItalyFrom partially dried corvina, rondinella and oseleta grapes, this appassimento wine takes its name, Arele, from the local name for the traditional wooden trays where grapes are laid down. Rich and inky from first whiff - black liquorice, blackberry jam, and black forest cake. The sweet, ripe palate is lush with jammy fruit - dried cherry, raspberry jam, warmed figs.
