Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVersion two of this Meritage blend is 60/29/11 mix of merlot, cabernet sauvignon cabernet franc opens with tobacco, black olive earthy sagebrush nose flecked with cranberry notes. The attack is dry and astringent with spicy, tobacco, cassis fruit with a long warm savoury, vanilla, coffee dried herb finish. Solid, but like last year just a little bit rustic.
