Summerhill Pyramid Winery Dry Riesling Organic 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTruth in labelling session. If you're looking for a dry riesling, this is absolutely not the wine for you. Although the low pH and high total acidity offset the sweetness, the 28 g/l residual sugar still makes this very much an off-dry riesling. Ripe pear, tart green apple, gooseberry, lychee, lime and ample white pepper on the juicy palate. Crab apple and grapefruit pith queue on the lingering finish, ending on a sour note. A solid option, especially if you were specifically looking for an organic riesling.
