North Coast, North Coast Region, California, United StatesSilver Palm zin is all North Coast fruit that in 2012 enjoyed a warm growing season with no major heat spikes - translation perfection conditions. Although predominately zinfandel at 86 percent there is 13 percent petite s and one percent barbera in the mix all of which is aged in both French and American oak barrels. Look for a balanced red with bright black cherry berry flavours and warm pleasant spicy finish. A well-made entry level zinfandel for those who like authenticity in their varietal wine.
