Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere is great lesson in this wine for many Okanagan producers. You need to taste more and more wines from outside the valley. Araxi Restaurant wine director Samantha Rahn has released a single red wine made at Okanagan Crush Pad. The yearly opportunity given to the Sommelier of the Year in BC is delicious. Okay it lacks a bit of power and depth but overall the elegance and drinkability of this syrah is amazing. The fruit comes off the ever impressive Cerqueira Vineyard in Oliver.
