Nagging Doubt The Pull 2012

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMerlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot and malbec are drawn from Black Sage Bench, Anarchist Mountain and the East Bench of Osoyoos to craft this full, ripe blend which has spent nearly a year in new and used French and American wood. Dense black fruit and black liquorice, sweet spiced cloves and toast on the nose. The round, concentrated palate packs a whack of ripe tannins, light charcoal, tobacco, leather, blackberry jam and sweet spice before a bitter espresso finish. Though the fruit is mighty, the tannins are still mightier at this time. Needs a year or two to settle, or a rare T-bone steak tonight.Tasted: 18 July 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
