Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceThis brisk rosé blends Côtes du Rhône's familiar grenache and syrah into a relatively unfamiliar wine - a rosé. Less than 10 percent of the area's production finishes as pink. Here raspberries, strawberries and thorny rock roses open a medium bodied, rustic wine. Tart rhubarb, red currant, rainier cherry and red berries on the round palate, finishing with a bitter herb and underripe green note.
