Honig Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Napa Valley, California, United StatesThere is ripeness factor in Napa that most cabernet sauvignon can never reach. The Honig is a perfect example of rich silky plummy black fruited red wine with deep soft tannins. Expect a wallop of black fruit and mocha coffee tobacco flavours. The fruit is a mix of Rutherford estate and purchases from about Napa. The cabernet sauvignon is aged for 18 months in one third potent American oak barrels and contains seven percent petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. Soft silky and fun to sip now it will be even better in five years.Tasted: 03 July 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $60.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
