Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpiced cherry, roses, cinnamon and earthy bark aromas open this medium-bodied, amply concentrated pinot noir from the Similkameen. Sweet, candied cherry fills the smooth palate, riding with spiced cinnamon, pipe tobacco, roses, cocoa and figs. Acidity is moderate, working to balance out the compact palate. Quite dense for a lighter wine and finishes warmer than anticipated for 13 percent alcohol.
