This small winery follows organic and biodynamic practices and is located on the stunning 600 acre property. Amicitia [am-ee-CHEE-tee-ah] is Latin for friends, and certainly the organic merlot / cabernet franc / cabernet sauvignon / malbec / petit verdot / syrah in this blend appear harmonious. Cassis, black cherry, dark cocoa, clove and branch aromas. The full bodied, spiced palate carries the same - fragrant cassis and wild blackberry dominating - along ripe, slightly gummy tannins and sweet, spiced wood. Bright black currant acidity lifts the fruit to the lingering finish.
