Chacra Pinot Noir Treinta y Dos 2012

Patagonia, ArgentinaIntense from front to back but not overpowering the Chacra Pinot Treinta y Dos story. The vineyard, planted in 1932, is the oldest in the group and is own rooted, there is no phylloxera here. The entry is rich and peppery with silky tannins and long persistent, stony, mineral dark fruit flavours. The wine is made by the legendary Hans Vinding-Diers who brings his own brand of elegance to the glass. Soft succulent and refined this is a pinot noir surprise. Made from biodynamic fruit. Duck confit is a must but salmon will do. The price is pinot crazy.Tasted: 03 July 2015Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
