Sea Star Blanc de Noir 2014

Pender Island, Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia, CanadaBlanc de Noir translates as white from red, so already this delicate pink wine is a bit of a mystery before the screw is cracked (think Rose de Noir). Whole cluster organic Pender Island pinot noir opens with dried herbs, fragrant gooseberry and pear. Delicate pink flowers lead the palate – roses and raspberry blossoms - alongside subtle raspberries, rainier cherries and yellow plum. Zippy lime cordial on the finish. Nice pure fruit concentration in this lovely light and elegant coastal rosé, perfect for your Moules Provençale.Tasted: 21 June 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
